Global Positioning System
A GPS uses satilites to help you find where you are in the world.
I have learned how to use a compass and what grid squares are.
I want to go to different places to do geocashing.
I think it's a good way to keep in touch with one another.
Gps stands for GLOBAL-POSTIONING-SYSTEM. It uses multiple satalites to compare the distance and it figures out where you are and where you want to go. We have learned to use road maps, plot grid squares, and use a compass with degrees. I really want to play capture the flag. I like useing the blogs as part of this class.
GPS stands for positioning system. The GPS uses the satellites in space to mark your position and the position of the place that you have to get to. I have learned how to shoot an asmith and how how you can find a point on a map. I want to play capture the flag as part of this class. I feel about using blogs as part of this class is that it is a way that everyone can know what is going on with other poeople and your assignments.
1) Global positioning system
2) a GPS uses grid squares that are layed out around the world and tracks those squares down to a 10 m by 10 m square using satalites.
3) I have learned how to read different types of maps and how to use a GPS. I learned the old fashioned way and the new way to locating yourself and where you want to go. I also learned that your a weather dork. =)
4) I want to find our way to the Hartford Pool by using the GPS's.
5) I love using blogs for this class! It's sooooooo much fun and we can see what other people do.
